suki.international: Company portrait

Over the past decades, the hardware company, founded in 1951 by Erich Schneider and Werner Klein in Iserlohn, has developed into one of the leading system suppliers for the national and international DIY Market industry and for the specialist retail trade. During the past year, the 415 employees world-wide achieved a total turnover of 115 million Euro with around 40,000 articles, of which 40 % came from transactions on the international market.

 

In 1986, suki.international merged with the Dyckerhoff Group of Companies, in order to strengthen the international expertise in association with the latter’s foreign partner companies. In November 2001, the Düsseldorf-based association Sherpa took over the traditional company. The company management of suki.international is made up of Sebastian Laus and Steffen Grasse.

 

Today, suki.international is also one of the leading providers in the fields of iron ware, hand tools, furniture fittings, wood connectors, rollers, cables/ chains/ latching straps, trading well beyond the national borders, as well as with the product programme “Helpmate” for promotional offers. The performance spectrum of the company – which has now advanced to a Global Player – includes the areas of expertise analysis and advising, POS planning, sourcing and logistics, marketing and merchandising. Thanks to continuous further development, almost perfect distribution to over 4.000 delivery addresses in more than 30 European countries with a delivery quota of 97% is today “daily business“. The logistics guarantees a maximum delivery time of 5 working days within the EU and 48 hours within Germany.
