The history of suki.international


1951 - Foundation of the company by Erich Schneider and Werner Klein in Iserlohn   Germany
1964 - Relocation of the company from Iserlohn to Dortmund Germany
1967 - Relocation of the company from Dortmund to Landscheid Germany
1974 - suki.international delivers to 20 countries throughout Europe. It increases their   range of ironware and captures 20 % market share, becoming a brand leader in   Germany
1976 - A new 4000 sqm facility in Landscheid commences operation in
1984 - The entire assortment is restructured with a focus on ironware, tools and
  technical fittings
1986 - Without a successor, Werner Klein sells his company to the Dyckerhoff AG
1990 - Introduction of the full service concept
1993 - Modification of ironware assortment
1994 - The Easy Plus screw is introduced
1995 - Ropes and chains become a separate independent assortment
1997 - Certification according to ISO 9001
1998 - Foundation of subsidiary companies in Poland and the Netherlands
1999 - Foundation of subsidiary company in Austria
2001 - The investor Sherpa takes over the company
- suki.international celebrates 50 years in business
- Market share increases to 50 % for clear view packaged ironware in Germany
- suki.international is a contract supplier to leading DIY market chains
2002 - At the DIY'TECKöln2002 suki.international presents a new international concept
  as well as assortments that have been internationalised in principle. The
  suki.system   quality multi-purpose screw is launched
2006 - suki.international presents its innovation “Super Nail“ at the Practical World   Cologne and shows its new optimised assortments and modular concepts in   presentation.
   

Going forward in the future, suki.international as a partner to the retail trade, will develop new concepts for the DIY sector and accompany expected changes in the retail trade with solutions adapted to specific requirements.
